Lower Back Pain
Back pain will affect 80% of us at some point in our lives. It’s often caused by a simple muscle, tendon or ligament strain and not usually by a serious problem. Like any pain it can be acute, with a sudden onset which then reduces after a few days or weeks, or chronic, where pain may come and go for several weeks, months or even years and can eventually be constant.
LBP can sometimes have no specific cause, but can be due to poor posture, muscle strains, ligament sprains or stiffness due to lack of exercise.
It can however be due to specific conditions such as spondylosis, disc prolapses or spinal stenosis to name a few.
